Silverleaf Patio – Patio Renovation in St. Johns, FL

From outdated and bulky to sleek and modern

A Brief Overview

What started as a dream outdoor space nearly became a cautionary tale until this homeowner gave us a call. After a bad experience with a previous contractor left him with nothing but frustration and a lost deposit, he was hesitant to try again. But with the right team, a solid plan, and a little trust, we turned things around transforming a too-small patio into a stunning, custom-built pavilion perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the view.

The Problem

This project didn’t start with excitement—it started with disappointment. The homeowner had a vision for a dream outdoor space, but after a contractor took his deposit and disappeared, that vision was left unfinished and trust was broken.

When he reached out to us, we approached the project with compassion, transparency, and a plan that made him feel secure

The Plan

We started by building trust not walls. Together, we worked out a payment plan that gave the homeowner peace of mind and control. With his own architect and engineer already involved, we collaborated seamlessly to bring their vision to life.

Once the plans were finalized and permits secured, we poured a brand-new concrete pad in early February. And when Mother Nature gave us a soggy winter, we didn’t rush we let that slab cure for nearly four weeks, setting the stage for a structure that would stand strong for years to come.

From Structural Precision to Timeless Craftsmanship

From Foundation to Showstopper

Once the foundation was ready, massive 16-inch laminated veneer lumber beams and a clean hip roof design brought the structure to life, preserving backyard views and seamlessly matching the existing home.

Craftsmanship That Elevated the Space

A southern yellow pine tongue-and-groove ceiling with a high-gloss finish and travertine tile flooring completed nearly 400 square feet of covered outdoor living space, built for lasting memories.
